inletdesk.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics, adverts or tracking. Cloudflare, which hosts it, handles the usual details of each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and keep it safe.

If you email us

We use your name, email address and message only to reply to you and to set Inlet up if you ask us to. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Inlet, the app

A store using Inlet chooses what reaches it: the emails sent to its support address, and its customers and orders from Shopify. Inlet uses them only to show the store's team its conversations and to help answer them.

• Cloudflare receives the store's email, Amazon Web Services sends the replies, and Convex stores the data.
• Anthropic's Claude sorts emails and writes draft replies. A person on the store's team reads and sends every reply.
• No store's emails, customers or orders are ever used to train AI models.
• Each store's data is kept apart from every other store's.
• When Shopify tells us a customer's data must be erased, Inlet erases it.

A full privacy policy for the app will be published before Inlet opens to more stores.
